Latest firmware:

Android 4.4.2 Kitkat with SUN UI launcher. This is the firmware that is pre-installed on the ZEUSS RK3288.
If you need to reinstall the firmware please use our restore firmware package, how to restore/upgrade manual is included in the package.

The restore firmware package is a .zip and needs to be extracted before you begin. To extract you can right-click the downloaded Zip file and select “Extract All…” or “Extract Here”.

The steps are as following:

1. Go into the internet browser on the ZEUSS RK3288 and go to https://towelroot.com/. Click the orange logo to download Towel ROOT app.
2. Install and run Towel ROOT app, see video for details on how to install and run.
3. Download ROOT Checker app and Use ROOT Checker app to verify ROOT acces. (When you start Verify SuperSU will ask permission for ROOT Checker to acces ROOT, click yes to give permission. Without permission ROOT Checker cannot check ROOT and will say your device is not ROOTED)
4. You are done now, SuperSU already comes pre-installed on the ZEUSS RK3288 so there is no need to download this app like shown in the video.

Configuring XBMC/Kodi

XBMC/Kodi comes pre-installed on the RK3288. To use Kodi, you’ll need to enable third party add-ons in order to gain access to all that endless content you want to watch. There are a few different ways to install add-ons to your Kodi setup, but first you’ll need to configure the Fusion Installer server onto your device. Once that’s done, go ahead and use the Config Wizard (best) or the Addon Installer tool to get all the goodies.
